Web Survey Bibliography
Even some of the more established, well-known research companies now conducting Internet research are in the midst of a competitive war in which questions about quality and projectability are sometimes sidestepped. Some online research companies even use pricing practices that border on the predatory, trying desperately to achieve current market share, dominance and bragging rights, in the hope of raising prices significantly at a later date. If researchers do not stop abusing respondents with overlong surveys and do not adequately pay them something akin to a dollar a minute for their time, then not only will Internet research have failed its promise, but so too will all of survey research.
